Art + Design Department Scholarships
The Department of Art + Design offers a variety of scholarships. Scholarships are awarded each spring for the next Academic Year. Applications can be downloaded and printed for your convenience. Applications should be mailed or dropped off with your portfolio (slide or CD/DVD format for studio majors or a research paper for Art History majors) to the Art + Design Department, Ellis Hall 308. Only one application is necessary to apply with the exception of the Excellence in Photography Award and the Bill H. Armstrong Award for Excellence. These follow separate guidelines.
The Department of Art + Design offers scholarships that are specific to Art + Design majors. Award amounts may vary each year and these scholarships are not automatic. Students must apply for them each year by February for scholarships that will be awarded toward the next academic year.
Scholarship applications for the 2009 - 2010 academic year have been awarded. Please check back here in late fall for next years 2010 - 2011 academic year application and plan to apply by the first week in February 2010.
University wide scholarships are also available. These are separate from department scholarships. Please refer all university scholarship questions to the Financial Aid Office 417.836.5262.
