Illustration Track Option

Why study illustration?

  • You’ll learn the fundamentals of visual language, methods and materials of traditional illustrational techniques and advanced computer image manipulation.
  • The course DES 497: Special Topics in Design keeps you up-to-date with sophisticated means of visual communication, often reaching into neighboring areas of image-making such as time-related art, motion graphics, 3-D illustration and social design.
  • You’ll gain strong conceptual thinking and a refined intuitive approach to build on your creative endeavors.
