Select one of eight studio emphasis areas to focus on your preferred media. Gain a strong background in criticism and theory, technical skills, and understanding of visual language and expression.
Compliment your skill-sets. This non-comprehensive major is ideal if you’re seeking a double major or plan to minor in another area. You'll gain competency in at least one foreign language and a broad arts and humanities background.
The studio art option is intended to give you a breadth of experience and understanding, rather than to prepare you for professional specialization in art or design.
