Advisement
Undergraduate
We assign you a faculty advisor when you declare your major. If you need assistance in getting assigned an advisor, contact us.
We recommend that you meet with your advisor at least once a semester until you graduate. Until you have completed 75 hours, you will need to meet with your advisor each semester to be released for class registration.
You can access your advisor's information through the Student tab on My Missouri State (select Student Profile link).
Graduate
You're assigned a faculty advisor who serves as a mentor and consultant for course scheduling and sequencing. You must meet with your advisor once a semester to receive approval for class registration.
Your advisor will assist you in completing your plan of study form, which must be submitted to the Graduate College prior to the completion of 14 hours of course work.
You can access your advisor's information through the Student tab on My Missouri State (select Student Profile link).
