Art and design occupies an 88,000-square-foot building complex housing graduate studios,
smart classrooms, experimental student galleries and critique spaces, two professional
galleries, eight computer labs, a visual resource library, art supply store, and administrative
and support offices.

The department refrains from offering valuations, appraisals, or authentications for
works of art, which should be carried out by a certified appraiser or reputable auction
