Access

Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday and university holidays: CLOSED

Brick 1 is unlocked 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. 

Brick 3 and 4 are unlocked 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. During scheduled exhibitions, open until 6 p.m. On each First Friday Art Walk, the doors will remain unlocked until 9 p.m. for evening Brick City Gallery access. 

All buildings after hours and weekend access is available using a BearPass Card. Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Digital Fab Lab

  • Location - Brick 3, room 226
  • Hours - Mondays: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., Tuesdays/Thursdays: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. *not starting until September.

Drawing and Painting

  • Location - Brick 4, rooms 204, 205, 208, 209 and 210
  • Hours - Throughout the week when classes are not in session. Class schedules are posted on each room. Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Letterpress Room

  • Location - Brick 1, room 304
  • Hours - Contact Design or Printmaking faculty for access.

Metal/Jewelry

  • Location - Brick 1, rooms 216 and 226
  • Hours - MW 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; T/TR 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.; F 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. (If no one presents by 20 minutes before closing time, lab may be closed early on T, Th, Sat, Sun)

Motion Capture Lab

  • Location - Brick 1, room 307
  • Hours- Contact instructor for access.

Photography

  • Location - Brick 1, 2nd floor darkrooms room 203 and room 220 digital printing lab
  • Hours - 7am - midnight, 7 days/week when classes not in session. Class schedules are posted on each room. *CLOSED DURING FINALS WEEK
  • Reserve a studio.
  • Brick 5 lighting studios: During spring semesters, open to ART 358, ART 455 classes and graduate students with permission ONLY. For the fall semester, please review the guidelines and policies and submit the application form. Contact photography faculty, Jimmie Allen, about access.

Printmaking

  • Location - Brick 1, room 110 and 113
  • Hours - Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. when classes not in session. Class schedules are posted outside room 110. Saturdays and Sundays 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. After 5 p.m. Monday - Friday, and weekends by Bear Pass card access.

Sculpture

  • Location - Brick 4, room 105
  • Hours - Monday 1 p.m. - 8 p.m., Tuesday 4:45 p.m. - 7:45 p.m., Wednesday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. / 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., Thursday 4:45 p.m. - 8:45 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. When classes are not in session, or no open monitored studio hours, advanced students have 24/7 access through back glass door with Bear Pass Card.
